How did itachi Killed the whole clan??

I know he had to have help from tobi but how did he wipe out his own clan without the other clans in konoha hearing the noise that night. Sasuke was coming back that night by himself, while everyone else in the village is sleeping? Im sure people could hear a scream and crashing things to the floor in the village. second, he is a trained ANBU captain i'm sure he knows how to do things stealthy.

Konoha higher ups were aware of the massacre before it took place so they probably prepared for it so no1 would notice what is happening (when the massacre is taking place).
The Uchiha clan would never think of itachi attacking them so it was easier for itachi to kill them - since they wouldnt concider him an enemy- ...annnnndd he probably got some help from tobi
