So if what your saying was right itachi kill mum and dad and instanly gets ms and automatically knows how to use tsukiyomi on sasuke who enters mere moments after?? Yeah nice job

It's not as simple as some people may think. Itachi made it sound as if he did not kill Shisui himself.

Even if he did, the mystery remains. How did Shisui get his Mangekyou Sharingan? How did Kakashi awaken it? It's either because of their extraordinary skills, as I can remember it was said that one can also awaken the Mangekyou through intense training, or there's yet another mystery to it.

But I'm still kinda unsure when it comes to Shisui's death (ofc we don't know how he died exactly...)

yeo there is no right or wrong on this subjject just speculation but based on what we have seen i dont think you have to kill anyone to get ms its just about having a seriously hurtful and sadening even that pushed you past your limits into the ms

Shisuis death its not clear whether Itachi was forced to kill him as the handwritten suicide note was forged by him or perhaps Shisui simply drowned himself who knows
