Yea, Shushi probably had salt water chakra nature LOL.... He could have been the eight tails Jinjuriki and Naruto could call him Octo-Shushi pops.....LOL

many reasons..he already was traumatised by the 3rd ninja war..those memories were trapped inside him as nightmares.......then he killed his best friend and possibly his mentor shisui(even though it was shisui who asked him to do so before giving him his other eye). Then he also killed his clan and his parents. So overall, there were a lot of factors out of which one possibly triggered the MS activation.

Itachi obtained first three tomoe of his sharingan by experiencing war.
He obtained MS when he saw his best friend die. (he got it before killing his parents and uchiha clan) .

Watching your best friend die could unlock ms. Either hate or despair can unlock the eye powers

from what we have seen his experienced none of that

I thought about that to, but Danzo tried to kill Shisui and Itachi still served Danzos orders. So I was confused on if he had hate cause hate has to be directed towards someone and the only logical person who Itachi could hate is Danzo. So If he did why would he obey his orders? Although I remember Danzo giving him that messed up dissicion between his clain or brother...hmmmm idk

This^^^^^ i also don't beleive that is how he triggered his ms because they were friends but itachi was the one regarded as the best of the uchiha not shushi, Itachi is also the one they talk about for activating his sharigan at such a young age not shushi and shushi had his ms when he died. Shortly after that we see Itachi activate his ms after being accused of killing his best friend, It's hard for me to believe that the best of uchiha was 2nd to someone in the uchiha.
