How did Itachi awakes his Mangekyou?

I dont recall seeing him awaken his Mangekyo resulting from extreme sadness or anger.

Itachi had his Mangekyou before the massacre. He also mentioned to Sasuke that he must kill his best friend in order to gain the Mangekyou. Although Itachi didn't kill Shisui, he's probably talking about Shisui death.

Probably at age 7, he awaken 1 and 2 tomoa... (due to war)
Then Shisui died, awakens 3 tomoa...
Shisui gives his eyes to Itachi... awaken Mangekyou.

Awaken his 3 tomoa when Shisui gives his eyes to Itachi...

Then awaken his mangekyou when Shisui commit suicide.

And he very may as well have awakened them through training.
And Shisui gave him one eye. The other was stolen by Danzo. I believe Itachi bad all three tomoe by then.
