how did itachi appear in naruto's dream?

I think this Is another plot hole that will never be explained. How did itachi appear in his dreams and cast a real jutsu on him? Maybe one day kishi was just like F logic _@: I mean it itachi can do it why hasn't minato visited at all

I think Naruto was just thinking about what Itachi had told him in the genjutsu when he gave him the crow with Shisui's eye. Naruto was lying in bed thinking not dreaming about it.

His convo with Itachi actually happened, and Naruto was daydreaming remembering it happening.

He didn't. They actually met in the forest right before Itachi's death. Naruto was just recalling the conversation.

That was a genjutsu. Itachi encountered Naruto and cast a genjutsu on him, then gave him the crow containing the KA. Then later on as Naruto was laying in bed weeks later, he remembered and wondered why Itachi gave him that power. So it was a genjutsu first and later a flashback.
