How did Hashirama destroy Madara's Susanoo?

What kind of jutsu do you think he used to stop Madara's Susanoo when he fought him?

I doubt that Madara didn't use one of his most powerful techniques against someone like Hashirama. Taijutsu would've been a huge disadvantage.

It's always strange when I imagine Hashirama breaking Susanoo, he always seems like a more laid back person. Considering he uses earth and water style techs I can't imagine he uses any "explosive" and destructive techs. It just seems against his nature. I really wonder how he did it.

Maybe like someone said earlier it was a taijutsu battle, but that would be unlikely.

madara has more than a portion of his techs. So far he has proven to have all of them.Flower tree world tech(pollen thing),mokuton clone,and that healing power(remember he did ask tsunade are you trying to kill me with my own tech.)
Also edo madara has infinite chakra supply its unclear how much chakra those huge attacks take.
SO we dont know if hashirama could do the same attack on the same scale with ease or does it take a great amount of chakra.

Hashi has the experience with Mokuton. Honestly though someone just using Mokuton vs an experienced mokuton user. I think Hashi can use it more efficiently and stronger.

Even then the techs that Madara have shown that are equal or less than Hashis are enough to disrupt susanoo.
