i mean, his power is used by others to survive. He is just like tunade that just can't die easily even if u try to kill them.
How did he die?
Or was he so weak after his battle with the most powerful uchia, so weak like tsunade after pein's attac?
Madara was said to be undefeatable but the only one who COULD match up or/and defeat him was hashi, but this did not mean hashi got out of it clean.

If it turned out that Kakuzu killed Hashirama (Even though i doubt so, because it's been said Kakuzu retreated during they battle), then i'd be so mad that Kakuzu got such a lame death.
