Apparently as we saw in Naruto pt.1 Kimimaro can defeat the Sound ninja 4, who can easily have defeated Gaara and Lee. Yet Kimimaro was defeated by Gaara and Lee. What's with that? Your thoughts?

Seems someone forgot that Kimimaro was one of the last few Edos who weren't able to get sealed even though he fought the Samurais and KM Naruto clone. And i doupt that Samurais + KM Naruto clone < Lee. And who cares if he had an operation? Kimimaro had an death illnes which is far worser then a little operation.

You misunderstood what I said. I meant that I doubt Lee would beat Kimimaro even if he was healthy. Still, he didn't beat Lee because, as said by Gaara, Lee was much slower and weaker than he was before because he just got out of his operation.
