I understand that Danzou is aware of amaterasu and susanoo, as he probably experienced fighting the uchihas.
But I wonder, how did Danzou know Itachi had amaterasu?
Itachi didn't gain the MS until shisui died, and then he was offered to kill the uchiha clan by Danzou. Itachi had no reason to use his MS against anybody in the village, as after killing the clan he went rogue and was inside akatsuki.
Danzou had commented on both Itachis' genjutsu and amaterasu. Genjutsu, alright, Itachi worked in the anbu so perhaps Danzou witnessed Itachi use genjutsu before and assumed his tsukuyomi would be much more powerful, thus making the contrast between it and Sasukes'. Susanoo comment is also fine, as Danzou probably saw it before like most of other MS.
But how did Danzou know Itachi had amaterasu? Itachi doesn't seem like he spams MS, and nor did he need to fight certains members in akatsuki to join it (as obito offered it in the first place). Even against Oro he just needed 3 tomoe sharingan. Itachi didn't fight any jins, and Itachi will not have encountered anyone stronger than akatsuki/jins.
Even against Jiraiya, he said " To think I had to use even AMATERASU", implying he barely, or never uses it...
When the hell did Danzou see it?
Come to think of it, even Raikage seem to be aware of it as he maximized his speed after seeing Sasukes' MS...
