How did all 9 tailed beasts grow up!?

They are suppose to be made of chakra but they are displaying signs of growth like any living things. Does that mean they will also grow old and die one day? If that is not the case... why did kishi showed kiddo kurama and adult kurama?

since he is chakra that has taken a living form. he will reincarnate back into the good ol kurama we know.

this process i think the sage knew what would happen and i think it been almost a thousand years since then because it takes a while for a idea to spread even if your a god many people would join but some would or most would resist the idea because it challanged their ideaologies.

so yea... Kurama is a adult but the latter hundred or maybe thousand years he'll "die" and be reincarnated

I'm guessing when the so6p split them up the collectively didn't have the same amount of chakra as the ten tails. So over time they began to get back the chakra that was left, hence they grew.

Because the Sage used his Yang chakra to give vitality to the 10 tails chakra, allowing them to have emotions/grow/speak etc. Tobi explained it all already. And no the tailed beasts cant die because at the end of the day, they are still just chakra.
