I thought he already did that before? Anyways it would be able to cut through anything when thrown at a high enough speed. Since the rotation already makes it deadly, the lightning style is know for piercing threw stuff. Chidori's power is based off of it's speed, too, the only thing able to stop is probably a really strong earth wall, or Gaara's sand blockage.
