Haters gonna hate.
1. How was Danzo supposed to know Shisui would put the Fugaku under KA? Uchiha's are planning a coup and an Uchiha that has mind altering powers is going to stop the Uchiha? Suspicious.
2. Uchiha weren't willing to listen to reason. Once you have the fire of rebellion in you it's very, very hard to extinguish. If hadn't made Itachi do that then war would have broke up. That alone makes Danzo a hero in my book.
3. ...And? You obviously don't know how ROOT works. Kabuto was gone for a very, very long time in a hostile country. He had immense knowledge on Konoha and ROOT. Danzo doesn't take chances.
4. Danzo helped try to crush Akatsuki at an early stage. So what? And besides, Hanzo would take more "blame" for that than Danzo.
5. He was not. When Sai came to Orocihmaru asking for an alliance between ROOT and Oto, Orochimaru's first response was "Oh. So that old geezer is still alive?" Orochimaru didn't know about Danzo even being alive. Does that sound like they were keeping in touch?
Danzo's final act proved that he truly cared for Konoha and the Ninja World. Danzo = Unsung hero.
so in your warped view a guy who forces kids to kill each other, lets his own people get killed for political power, and commits mass genocide supposedly for the sake of his country is a hero? Tell me your thoughts on the nazis?

What about the invasion of pain, he wanted to let the village get destroyed so he could become the hokage? doesn't sound like it's for the good of the leaf.
