Even though his answer is wrong AF seeing as Naruto already gave that answer to Itachi and Itachi told him how it was a bad thing to try. Sasuke is still coming from a somewhat respectable place.

Instead of what people Originally thought ( forcing the world into peace) he is going to shoulder all of the world's hatred (like Itachi but on a bigger scale)

This^^^ it's funny how throughout the manga some fans say "sasuke is a genius and naruto is dumb" etc, and yet sasuke is arguably the most naive and ignorant character in the manga. Naruto is the the right one at the moment.

it's not that different from what ppl might have originally have thought, because he still wants everything to revolve around himself. That's why there isn't a throng of ppl talking about they respect his stance. It has less to do with what the world needs and more about making the world pay attention to him.
