How could Sakura be improved in terms of combat.

These three would have been very good additions if any were given to her i thought sakura having sage mode would have been more likely then not but she like most of the females and the rest were thrown to the back burner though she did get slightly more attention just to keep her in the lime light

Slug Sage mode not being a thing actually makes little to no sense.

Sakura needs to give up mayhem fighting in favor of polish taijutsu with cool thinking,otherwise She is a poor imitation of the Hulk.

Sakura was only able to avoid certain death 13 times due to chiyo saving her ass with her puppetry skills from sasori’s attacks and her having prep time to make 3 antidotes, of which 2 were used on her.

Thats a total of 15 fails of Sakura avoiding Sasori’s attacks, so I'm inclined to disagree with that statement.

What she need if she dont want to focus on Ninjutsu is good martial art practice from expert like Guy for example.

She need to improve on her combat skill to benefit from her prowess in chakra enhanced attacks. Also her medical taijutsu also is another thing that can complement her Taijutsu expertise if she ever learn. Plus what Amy Rose said about Gates.

Sometime a person dont need flashy ninjutsu to be useful but effectiveness in using the given/train potentials/abilities.

Sakura has one of the brightest minds in manga and uber refined chakra control so her potential to learn different types of ninjutsu was there, that Kishi.

OT: I'd say she should've been given finjutsu, Elemental Ninjutsu (water) and a Rikudou Enhancement.

Sakura ended off the manga in pretty good standing and a top ninja. She doesn't lack much except range ninjutsu imo. Genjutsu casting would have been nice. Slug sage mode would be the best addition.

Also saying her taijutsu isn't very effective, it has been through her fights and not to mention she showed some good taijutsu against sasori which is her only good fight .
