How could fugaku possibly be weak? How

Just trying to understand some logic here because most of NB thinks uchiha are power hungry animals so how is it possible for a clan like that to be led by someone fodder. Especially in an era that produced shisui, Itachi and Sasuke.

They aren't power hungry.

Fugaku is featless figurehead, required his son and shisui for the coup.


Sasuke was a child.

Itachi was one of a kind genuis.
Shisui was the most feared uchiha at the time.

The latter two defected from him so he basically had no fire power to decisively succeed in his plan.

In his lifetime, Fugaku was certainly one of the strongest Uchiha. If he were to have fought either Itachi or Shisui individually, he would've at least given them a run for their money I bet.

Hes featless and most likely fodder compared to every other relevant Uchiha, 2 of which are Indra's incarnate, 1 whos an anomaly, and another one with the most broken tech in the manga.

He's featless but we can assume he was strong to the point of leading the Uchiha and he was certainly demanding towards Itachi and Sasuke which makes me believe he wanted his kids to be more strong or equal to him. Also, Itachi inherited some physical appearance to Fugaku. Maybe Fugaku was proficient in the genjutsu affinity just like Itachi, to prove this even further, it was said that the Uchiha were going to use Kurama to successfully achieve the coup. Maybe it was Fugaku that was going to do it.
