how come yamato become the spiral zetsu

guys i didn't remember since when or how come yamato became the spiral zetsu??

care to explain..

was there really a scene in manga how it happened? or the spiral zetsu just showed up?

Yamato was being controlled, spiral zetus is a living thing that used him as a host.

During the, "Confining the Jinjuriki," Arc, Yamato is captured by Kabuto and then places.into the main tree to strengthen the Zetsu Army. At some point during this time, Spiral Zetsu took over him.

At the current time, it seems as though he's not a fully concious individual or during the last say has defected. As Yamato notes, "I don't need this shell anymore." Thus he implies that he's either defecting or being manipulated by Spiral or Genjutsu.
