Well it dies take up a lot of chakra however while Kaguya's is instantaneous sasuke opens portals, also kaguya can do so in rapid succession, but it drains her, sasuke wont be spamming as much as kaguya, takes too much chakra to. Also when kaguya spams it she runs low on chakra when Sasuke does, his eye powers gets depowered.
