How come rock lee in 3rd gates looked faster than might guy in 8th gates. Maybe it was because it wasn't shown in the anime yet? but thats some bullshit

ONce you go "so fast you cant see" you can't go farther. Everything else is based on what THEY can see. Like dbz. they became too fast to see midway through dragonball. How do you show massively ftl?

^ that pretty much. Also Lee going in 3rd gate was wayyyy faster than Gaara but Gai against Madara is different. Gaara isn't particularly the fastest dude while Madara in the state he's in is probably one of the fastest people, so it's only natural to look like Gai isn't as fast when comparing to Lee.

Because Rock Lee was fighting Pre-timeskip Gaara and not Juubi Jinchuuriki Madara... Gai was so fast he was distorting space. (what ever that indicates)
