He didn't have Rikudou chakra back then.You can only get it by becoming the Juubi Jin or getting power directly from the Sage himself.

Nope, there is three ways to obtain Rikudou chakra:

- get power directly from the Sage himself as you wrote
- become Juubi Jinchurki as you wrote
- mix Indra and Ashura chakra resulting in Rikudou chakra.

To OP:

Rinnegan is mere reflection of Rikudou chakra in eyes so This PS which Madara used against Gokage was already Rikudou chakra powered up, but really small amount of Rikudou chakra that it. Before we have never seen EMS Madara uses PS expect creating shroud for Kurama as Sasuke has done against Juubito.

The only question I have is Bijuu stated that Edo Madara had Fake Rinnegan, so here go condition.

If Fake Rinnegan affect PS and make it weaker then yes it could look the same but be more powerfull if it was used by Alive SM Rinnegan Madara, else it would be the same.

Conclusion: look wouldn't change, but power could depeding on conditions.

Even if you mix Ashura and Indra's chakra's, its still a heavily watered down version of what Rikudo actually had. Naruto and Sasuke received a first hand Rikudo quality chakra, whereas Hashirama and Madara only possessed extremely watered down variations of the younger son's chakra's, thus combining watered down versions of Ashura and Indra's chakras will result in a watered down version of Rikudo's chakra.
