[Discussion] How come Juugo doesn't get more respect?

I would like to know why, when so many fan boys are out there for other characters why Juugo seems to have no following? I would love to see him be able to go all out in a fight and see what hes capable of. His fight with the Raikage was cut short by him being knocked out. So I want to know how powerful everyone else thinks he could be. I'm not saying hes the most powerful or greatest ever but I do feel like he gets no respect.

Lets discuss the reasons why Juugo should or shouldn't be getting more respect... BEGIN

Did someone disrespect Juugo? I must have missed somethin.

IMO Kimimoro is 10 times cooler than Jugalo though.

I know he hasn't been shown much but I still feel like he has abilities that are overlooked. I think he has potential to be quite strong, especially if he was to focus on his power and fighting skills. As far as Kimimaro being cooler than Juugo that is opinion because I find the 2 edge sword concept of Juugo so much more appealing than the abused orphan thing Kimimaro has going on.

He wasn't disrespected per say but I never see anyone talking about him on the forums.

I used to think the members of Hebi, or Taka were awesome (save Karin). They just had diversity and unique characteristics.

Juugo is no different. His connection to the curse seal and Kimimaro. It was just a good move by Kishi. Suigetsu; I always wanted to see him fight Kisame, then Kisame committed suicide and I was like, "Damn..." Then I saw Zabuza come back, and I was like, "Hey! Were gonna see Suigetsu fight Zabuza while they both somehow have the Executioner's Blade." Then Kakashi killed him.

Kishi just didn't have them planned to be major past the "Hunt for the Eight-Tails" Arc. As much as we would have liked it.

I mentioned he was knocked out by A in the OP.

Does no one else want to see him go all out I think he deserves a big outing soon?

I see your point about the Taka memebers because originally I was all psyched about them. But in the end the only one to hold any attention from me was Juugo. Suigetsu lost my attention quickly and Karin was never a fighter type so I never cared about her as much.

Juugo is the original source for the curse mark and his personality is great for his type of role. I just want to see a ride or die situation with him where he has a chance to shine. He has to have something up his sleeve we haven't seen right?

Well I think it is because Jugo really did have much to offer. His curse mark thing was an older concept with just an upgrade, his appearance doesn't really strike me as different plus he looks to be easily defeated. However, I would love to see him with full curse mark going on a battle against someone else like the Raikage

Juugo has such small screen-time that he is much less discussed. Furthermore after joining Sasuke, Kishi made him seem like Sasuke's lapdog. But he is extremely powerful no one denies that.

It's because Jugo's only been shown in battle once. It hasn't sunk into everyone's head how powerful he is.

Note that his first battle ever in the manga was against A. Even if he lost, it still shows how badass he is

I agree.. Sasuke's curse seal mode is so famous but the actual owner of the curse seal gets no attention at all.

I agree he is a powerful opponent . I just hate to see a character of such potential to be put on the back burner.

I feel like he will make an appearance soon and will do something monumental for either good or bad. Because if he doesn't I will definitely be disappointed.

Juugo : crappiest shallowest BG storyline, I was quite disappointed when I found out THAT was the source of all the curses.. gee, DNA solves anything these days.

Even Suigetsu, which is pretty shallow too (and equally ignored) is more interesting because of his roots and his goals in relation to the village of Mist. (this story was also trolled by Edo spamming and got quickly resolved in a chap or 2, ruining what was another good sidestory, with Edo sword cloning and all)

Well, Juugo and Suigetsu are looking for Sasuke. So we know that we'll see more of them, the more their around Sasuke, the more we'll see. Plus, if he's there and anyone tries to kill Sasuke, he will stop them. We may even see him fight again, in that since.

The fact that he goes crazy and just kills people makes him an interesting character to me, but mostly I respect the fact that he is powerful and has a unique personality in the Naruto universe. He is the double edged sword, a symbol of the greatest good and the worst kind of evil.. a true Berserker if you will

Lets just hope that he does actually get to meet Kimimaro on the battle field. Whether a fight comes of it or not, would be good to see his reaction.

Him meeting up with Kimimaro would be awesome, I never thought of that happening for some reason.
