Nah, wood release comes from having Ashura's body because Ashura had the Juubi's power (six path senjutsu)

It's why Naruto is the only one in NV that was capable of influencing Hashi's wood (no homo), Kurama's chakra alone has no effect on Mokuton, but when it's mixed with Naruto's Yang it has the same effect as Hashi's Yang.




Because Ashura was never greedy for power lol, Hagoromo only wrote on the tablet to prevent Indra's descendants from following in his path. It would've worked if BZ didn't edit it
