How can you really be surprised with Gai living?

Karin lived through Chidori shank AND Mokuton explosion AND Amaterasu
Sasuke survived Killer Bee/Madara stab wounds (granted, he had plot shield)
Naruto survived Bijuu extraction (see above)
Lee survived that super dangerous surgery
Neji survived steel arrow through abdomen
Chouji lived after death sentence pill
Sakura survived poisonous shanks from Sasori
Madara survived VoTE backstab
Shikamaru survived having all his chakra drained by Shinju
Kankuro survived Sasori's poison
Suigetsu survived Bijuudama
Jugo survived Raikage punch
Obito survived being crush by boulders
Zabuza survived being pincushioned (for a while at least)
3rd Raikage survive 20k fodder onslaught
Gokage survived Madara


I could go on, but you get the point. Why pretend this is suddenly some huge thing when it's been going on since day 1?

This is also a very likely possibility. Dare I say I'd wager it to happen, my only regret is that it'll dampen Naruto's new OP medic skills :Omg: but such is a price to pay.

Chouji and the red pill were supposed to be confirmed death. So was removing Gedo Mazou from Obito IIRC.

His body is turning into ashes but the ashes are still there, recreating him is a possibility.

Well.. Naruto DID just get powered up by the Sage of Six Paths himself. I sort of saw this coming and hoped it wouldn't happen, but perhaps Naruto only slightly prolonged Gai's life.

I simply don't see how Gai can go on with daily life, he's practically a pile of charcoal.

Gai will die anyway. Naruto just spiked a bit of the life fore/chakra in Gai - but just barerly then pulled his arm off either accepting he can not save Gai or it is impossible to Save Gai. The only thing Naruto did is prolonging Gai's life so we will get last words of Gai to Lee and Friends just like Asuma....

Just notice it and stop complaining
