How can you be a fan of the character Naruto?

I swear some of the people making threads on Narutobase only started reading the manga about a month ago or skipped all of part 1.


If you have been reading and watching from the very beginning you wouldnt be going on about how Naruto has no weaknesses. the Indra and Ashura bullshit only came in Chapter 650 or so. Naruto started off at the bottom of his class hated by everyone, as a lonely orphan.
Eventually, yeah he became the strongest as he is the main character, go figure. Its the end of the story and it had a happy ending. Would you prefer if Naruto was weak and the world ended in chaos? The story was always going to end up with Naruto as hokage, what did you expect? Sasuke also has these powerups and he didnt even start off as the bottom ranked shinobi, yet there are 1000's of Sasuke fans. I dont understand your argument.

Well I think i can say, most Naruto fans, or die-hard Naruto fans, liked him before the flashy kyuubi avatar, TBB's & what not.

I believe most liked his attitude of getting right back up after falling down. Because in Part 1 Naruto wasn't the best, he struggled a lot, & trained hard. When part 2 came around, he didn't change much besides having grown taller, gotten better with shadow clones & had Odama Rasengan. In comparison to his Rival Sasuke whom grew so much he wasn't the "best" he was the underdog. Which as you know underdogs are usually pretty likable, or have many people whom root for them to succeed. Seeing Naruto make FRS, Learn SM, & fight Pain in the Leaf were definitely key moments for his character are three of my favorite moments. I liked when we see him protecting others it seemed thats what gave him strength.

In short I liked Naruto because of his gutsy attitude, friendly nature, & his dream of becoming Hokage. His tragic story of being a jinchuriki shunned by the village despite the 4th hokages wishes for the village to see him as a hero was disheartening. He was lucky to have made friends so fast whom accepted him K11 (along with the sensei's Iruka, Kakashi, & Jiraiya. As part 1 progressed more villagers started to notice Naruto as an impressive shinobi as seen against Neji. In part 2 Naruto finally got the recognition he wanted for so long after "defeating Pain".

His power, along with Kurama's power, & even Rikudo's is a bit overwhelming but it is sorta cool :lol
So I just like him because He's always been a good guy, a good role model even i'd say. Like a few other Shonen MC's are.

Nobody ain't talking that crap. I'm talking about Current Naruto. The one with THE MOST CHAKRA. No weakness at all. I have been reading Naruto since day one. 2001. I had a great deal of respect for Naruto until after pein arc. He started to have no weakness at all.

But the in universe counterpart to "mewtwo"(beerus), would be Kaguya, I don't see naruto being stronger than her now do I, I don't see him being stronger than Hagoromo in his prime, nor JJ Madara, what the hell are you even arguing aout at this time, people in universe are stronger than naruto, same as goku. @bold When did you start listening to Naruto lawyers?.....Goku losing to mewtwo? Please leave that irrelevant non canon shit at the door XD It's about as useful as saying Naruto loses to Mew. Akira had to literally create another character 5x more powerful than Goku for him to lose. Before this God mode stuff, his strength had no bearing on his popularity as a character, and regular people not being able to train to reach his power status had no bearing on the show either.

@Underline I didn't deny that, my argument was there was characters that got hella strong without the need of rikudo chakra, Kabuto for example. What your basically saying is characters can't be interesting if they can't get godly strong. In terms in anyone surpassing Naruto, that shit can change with the flick of a pen anytime. This whole plot shield armor argument your making is pointless relating to shonen, ALL shonen characters have it, even the bad guys. The whole story is a plot in the first place. People only scream plot armor when something contradicts how they wanted to go.
