How can the other half of Kurama be alive?

Correct me if im wrong but Minato has the Kyuubi's Yin chakra. Which is the spiritualistic part, a spirit can't talk or move. Only the Yang part which is the physical part should be able to live, walk, talk, etc.

bijuu are living forms of chakra. even if piece of their chakra is taken, their Yin (mind/spirit) will be contained there.

just like Naruto has a dark side so does kurama.on kuramas case he was split in two and sealed separatly into two jinchuriki.so naruto is the jinchuriki of the good kurama and minato of the "bad" kurama.

it's because it's kishi's manga, ppl can try and predict and hypothesize things but you should always remember in the back of your mind, kishi's making this up, real world logic will not always apply to certain things in the manga.

Naruto's Kurama was not a good foxy at the point of splitting at all if I remember correctly ..... So cant it mean Minato's Kurama is the good part?

well the good part was angry at humans in general...
minato has the draker part of kuramas chakra

Yang chakra is physical energy and lifeforce while Yin chakra is powerful and spiritual chakra. So n your logic the Kurama in Naruto should only contain it's physical body with it's stamina/physical and lifeforce while Minato's Kurama contains Kurama's soul/mind whichcould talk. But in this case, Kurama is a tailed beast which is a mass of living chakra so if he is split by Yin and Yang then it would be 2 parts of Kurama. Jiraiya himself even said Minato sealed the "Dark chakra" and the Uchihas were called a call possessed by evil (By Tobirama) and they have the Sage's Yin Chakra as well.
