Gaara killed 3 Rain ninja, Yashamaru, and Dosu (as far as I remember). Sasuke was also a threat to the 5 Kage, and Gaara was a threat to a bunch of genin

Sasuke knew what it was like to have a mother, a father, to be popular, and not be an outcast or feared as a monster.But he also knew what it was like to lose them. Sasuke losing his entire clan was terrible but I doubt he even knew half of them. Sasuke losing his parents and having his brother the one who killed them is what affected him the most.

Sasuke's life went bad a few years into his life. Even then, many people had a hand out for him and praised him.

Naruto & Gaara had it bad the moment they were born.

That's because Gaara has pretty much did a 180 in personality, belief, and what he values. He's shown progress, so much progress that he became Kazekage, that despite being the youngest Kage in history, is listened to by elders like Onnoki and Ay.

At the moment, No one knows what's Sasuke's decision was to Hagoromo or what he values anymore.

The only thing is certain is that he intends on becoming a Hokage and that he will change the ninja world.

Not only this, but also the fact that Gaara spent the time skip genuinely trying to repent for what he had did, he tried to get closer to the people that had caused him pain, as well as trying to work for their acceptance. He discarded pride and began to care for those around him. Sasuke is the opposite. He sees no value in anything but himself.

The second you say Indra tried to manipulate him is the second all of your credibility goes down the drain, as well as your argument. Gaara literally had no morals back then. The concept of death just meant nothing more than weakness and that being alone made you stronger.

Overtime, he gained them.

and he still hasn't fully regained them.
