This. You guys are forgetting the main issue Naruto had will controlling the kyuubi's power was... Well the Kyuubi! Lol Naruto had the trouble of kurama possibly taking him over and had to fight him to better access his chakra himself. Minato doesn't have this problem because the entity if the Kyuubi doesn't reside in him like Naruto, only the chakra in his case. Get it?

Hiruzen didn't seal the arms inside himself, just along with him in the death god. Minato seals the Kyuubi in himself prior before sealing himself completely, you can tell because he mentions the Kyuubim's chakra being heavy.

minato sealed the Yin chakra of the kyuubi in himself, so at anytime minato can enter that chakra, although he is not as good as naruto in using the chakra since he hasnt trained with it.
