How can Kakashi still see out of his sharingan eye?

Uchiha obtain the EMS when they get someone else's eyes. I know they have to be related, but maybe the rule is different than we thought.
That and Senju cells of course, in fact, I have a feeling that Kakashi is going to use izanami on Obito.

Because Obito's MS doesn't cause blindness. Think about it; Obito doesn't have EMS, but he uses his power literally constantly. Clearly, there is something specific about his Sharingan that doesn't cause the usual blindness. I'm sure if Kakashi started using Amaterasu, he would start going blind.

Obito doesn't lose eyesight because he has Hashirama Senju's DNA. Kakashi doesn't lose eyesight because he isn't Uchiha.

The more obvious one, Kamui just doesn't cause eyesight to deteriorate.

Kishi couldn't have made this huge a plot hole. At least I don't think he would have made one that is so easily noticeable.

It's never been clearly established at how long it takes a sharingan to deteriorate, which I'm guessing is probably intentional.
However, in Kakashi's case, I think not having Uchiha genes would prevent him from overusing it, he's only been able to use it 3 or so times a day due to the strain it puts on his body.

I would argue that Obito's version of Kumai is the less powerful form, or at least takes less effort to activate than having to project it away from yourself. But even so, he virtually has a library of sharingans to borrow from granting his eye-sight starts to deteriorate, so it's plausible he has EMS.

Ordinary sharingans cant cast Kamui. So all the other sharingans he has will be useless when it comes to restoring his eyesight.

I thought Obito's Kamui was the more powerful one. But given what you said, it could probably take much less effort since he uses it so often.
