How can kakashi get in and out of kamui?

Well since he lost his eye :NO: how can his eye do it? I thought he can only kamui something he sees? Was he just able to see his how body? It really looks like he's starting to use obito's version of kamui.

Does he kamui so close to his face that he gets sucked in?

But I'm not sure. At one point when he was leaving kamui land to go back and join the war he closed his left eye. Technically he's looking at the back of his eyelid and maybe that's how he was able to travel through dimensions.

My friend you are just confused,pretty much like most people. Kamui is just kamui. No long or short range. It's just comes to level of mastery of the tech. Obito being an uchiha has better control,just like madara. Kakashi just started to master it. Obito can use long range kamui,he used it to save sasuke from ohnoki at kage summit,there is no other explaination. He just doesn't use it in battle because it's not his preferred fighting style.

Obito's kamui is limited to physical contact.
