How can Jiraiya counter CT?

Even during their fight Jiraiya only time got hit(which was the cause of him losing the fight) when his guard was down and he thought the fight was over. After the fight Pain himself admitted that it was only due to their secret that he didn't lose.

True he didn't use ""ChibakuTensei"" in that fight. Also with his 5 bodies around I dont think he can afford to use that technique. But if he do use CT against Jiraiya , then Is there a way he can counter that?

Chibaku Tensei is a special technique developed by the Sage of the Six Paths through the Deva Path, who used it to create the moon and trap the Ten-Tails' body inside of it.

The user creates a dark black sphere of gravity that when thrown into the sky, attracts objects from all directions and pulls them into the sphere compressing them simultaneously. The surrounding earth, including forests and mountains, are collected into a single point, piling on top of one another until it creates a large sphere. A large crater is left where the earth has been collected from. The Deva Path had to be brought within close range of Nagato before it could use the technique, and performing it put a great deal of strain on Nagato

CT is the black sphere of gravity. Deva Path's ability is basically gravity control with him as the center. BT is kind of like turning him into a center of high gravity so he can attract things to him. ST is kind of like reversing that gravitational pull into a push, that is why Kakashi said it didn't feel like a shockwave.

Pain wouldn't have been able to use CT in the fight with Jiraiya, even with all the paths present, because he was in the Rain Village. He didn't want to destroy his own home. I don't think Jiraiya has shown anything to take out the core of CT.

reverse summoning to escape it, and probably toad flatness could keep him from getting kill i suppose. that said, jiraiya can win with the toad song without needing to beat ct which is a trump card. so it's an issue of who plays their ace first i suppose.
