How can Itachi be defeated?

First of all, I want to make my position clear: I'm not an Itachi fanboy. However, when I review the shots from him, I really doubt that someone can defeat him 1v1. any idea?

In his time, the only ninja who are most likely on par with him would be -

Kisame - (Due to knowing the techniques / how they work / having worked with itachi in Akatsuki.
Pein?? - (Ms VS Rinnegan x6) - Maybe pain just edges this out.
Tobi/Obito - (Because he's one of the main antaganists)
Kakashi?? - (Both have fairly equal tactial knowledge in how to plan an attack / both have an arsenal of techs.)
Jiraiya - You don't become a sannin for nothing.
