How can I unlock all characters (Revolution) ?

I've heard somewhere else that you can get ryo by getting all characters in the latest Storm game, but somewhere else I also read people mentioned you have to do the Story Mode to unlock all the characters, is that true?

I played the game so I know. Yes to unlock characters, you should play the tournament story.

This is a Story Mod in Revolution, but a bit changed from prev Mods. Ur hero must proceed into the tournament by fighting anothers (FFA mod). U will unlock some stuff and new chars during the story.

Damn, are you kidding with me? I don't want to go and look up for some mission to get points and characters? I've heard you can get characters when you beat your 2 player in free battle like 30-40 times so you can get som Ryo to unlock characters.

Am I wrong?
