So it's apparent to anyone who isn’t a casual, an advocate of censorship or of injecting unwanted moralism into anything they disagree with that anime localization is a clusterfuck of self-righteous demagogs that want to inject political correctness and Western moral standards into the works of Japanese animators and game designers. And since I don’t want to aid and abide by that bullshit, I torrent the majority of my anime and stay away from Japanese games licensed here in the West out of my detest for these assholes. But that, of course, means no money for the people who work tirelessly under the oppressive working conditions of Japan's work culture.

I want to reward the massive amount of hard work these content creators put into their jobs. But do so in a way that doesn’t benefit any of the annoying Western moralists who want to alter content to please the annoying moral imperialists of the community. I buy posters and shit from conventions and comic bookstores, but I know that a chunk of those profits go to these pompous dipshits, and I don’t like that.

How can I give money directly to Japanese studios without giving a single penny to Crunchyroll, Funimation, and any other Western localizer who wants to insert inaccurate translations and political agendas into the games and anime I enjoy?
