I wouldn't say that. Remember most if not all mods were new members at one point.

OT: You'd have to be a loyal member of the base, and you have to also be helpful so that they think you're worthy of becoming one. At least that's how I think it's done.

You can't ask for the position, and not to sound rude, but at your current position, you won't be able to be a mod. Once you gain a higher reputation here on the base maybe you could be considered.

I'm not saying there's no hope for you, however I suggest you reach teaching status and prove your honesty, leadership, and helping others countless times.

Good luck on your goal. I hope you get there one day.

Well for starters following and knowing the rules is, obviously, a must. For instance not posting threads that already have been posted as that can be considered spam, posting threads in the correct sections would also be a very useful ability, but above all never and I mean never insult a staff member.

Otherwise your chances just went down the drain. Also it's advised to not accuse a staff member of favoritism for a specific character, as outside it's just not true, something like that is utterly insignificant whatsoever. I mean that would be like accusing Obama playing favoritism for people that love wearing flip flops and a pith helmet. If you do, your chances of ever becoming a mod would hit the bottom of the NB cesspool, but don't let that discourage you, I mean what are the odds someone on who all that applies would be so ignorant to actually apply
