Plus Hashirama's Forest has poisonous gasses and he can hide in them and poison Minato. Also with Infinite Darkness he can blind Minato and create multiple wood clones so Minato cant tell where the real Hashirama is at.

Basically if he cant touch Minato, Minato cant touch him and get away with it for long.
