How bad is the Toriko anime?

I didn't plan on making this thread but I noticed big reviewers (KOL) was complaining about Toriko's anime so I have to ask 2 questions since I usually start off with the anime whenever I start a new series.

1.) Is the Toriko anime terrible from the very start? (episode 1) If not, after which episode does it turn terrible?

2.) How terrible is it? Like OP 4kids bad? xD

Its terrible, I saw one of the most recent episodes just to see if i was going to like the series, cause i dont read or watch Toriko. And oh my gosh was i speechless its so bad, i dont understand how the animation studio is allowed to do that, its worse than Naruto.

Well, I'm on episode 7, but the animation doesn't seem too bad, it's actually nice. I say you should watch, atleast try.

Well idk about the anime reviews but people said the manga is amazing.

The anime was alright up until the recent episodes... Read the manga,it's much better.

It's terrible. They altered the manga horribly. The anime shows no character progression for Toriko and Midora, and left Ichiryuu alive.

So how many of the first few episodes can I watch before it gets "bad"? I'm just so used to watching the anime first then switching to the manga.

Think about it like this, take a look at Zoro in the manga.

How did you feel when you found out that 4kids renamed Zoro to Zolo?

I felt sick to my stomach that my favorite OP character was torn apart.

That's how bad the anime adaption of Toriko is.

Unbelievable. Yeah about your 4kids post it did annoy me. In fact it made me believe that OP is a terrible series for like a good 9 years till I found out how 4kids butchered the show XD.
