[Discussion] How bad is the racism in your country?

USA is filled with racism? Im assuming there are certain states that aren't

NZ is alright but there was a news report recently about racism towards the maori people. Some people are scared of their tattoos but they're pretty cool though in my opinion. When i was a kid though there was a lot of racists comments towards asians and there sorta still Is especially after the coronavirus.

racism is definitely a problem here in the U.S. though if im honest, i personally havent faced much of it and im blessed in that way. i have been pulled over for having a really nice car while being black and my neighbors on the left thought i was a drug dealer when i first bought this house

but literally my great grandmother whose 90 use to pick cotton in Mississippi, not as a slave but her brother was literally killed by a mob of white people who wanted their land and they never faced charges. thats three people ago and my mom was just starting to switch from segregated schools as a kid. my grandma went to an all black school and couldnt drink out of white water fountains and all kinds of stupidity

but im honestly just blessed. there are other people in my culture and other minority groups that have faced way more racism that are my age. its still a problem but i think its getting better with each generation

When i was i like 7, they used to call indians curry curry butbutt. That sht would crack me up . Also we call anyone from Samoa, tonga, fiji islanders.

While not as bad as America's, I do think they way Canada has treat Indigenous peoples over our history have similarities to how America has treated Black people. Residential Schools were especially horrifying and have really made a generational dent on their culture, which is where a lot of the racist issues comes from.

lol thats funny cause im actually really cool with sonny

but no considering my ancestors were seen as property with no rights, its definitely not getting worse. its actually getting better, just stuff that was kept hidden, people are becoming more aware of. which is great honestly

People think America is an unracist Utopia a meltingpot where everyone is a migrant and can just enter and be happy. Just like they think my country is a socialist hellhole or paradise.

I think in the nirthern part there is an indingeous population that were heavily discriminated like racially biologi allt discriminated back in the Day.
