I don't agree. Sasuke is a short term goal kind of guy. He can't think of long term goals. He will fail for many reasons. One of those is he does what he wants to not what the people what. Two is he will in fact breed more hate with killing the gokages. I can keep going but this two examples are plenty to make his plan fail.

Good; Sasuke has literally brought life back to this manga

Stupid; shouldn’t have happened in the first place

It was a good move by Kishi; Naruto can now b*tch slap Sasuke to put some sense into him

Every panel of Sasuke in this manga does justice to Kishi’s work
