I understand that Kishi said Sasuke & Naruto are equal, I don't deny that. Some may even Say Naruto is better, which doesn't even bother me -- opinions are opinions.

However… :|

I never understood how people try to justify Naruto having a full conscious lifeform to help him to equate to Sasuke's eyes. Not bashing Nardo for having Kurama, just saying it isn't genetic.

Sasuke's eyes were genetic -- able to awaken on one's own from birth, The Bijuus are just trapped within someone(with a strong enough body), not an ability available from birth. Yes you can train, and go through hell to work with them, but again its not something that's automatically granted to you from birth.

Both have gifted genes(Sharingan / Large Chakra reserves), however Kurama is not a ****ing gene.

yea but it can't be changed so i dont like to argue with it much. Naruto was given and so was Sasuke so it balances it out and hence their equality.

I think these who complain about Sasuke regarding this topic, are talking about his EMS, which is not genetic either, to be honest. So it is similar to Kurama.

Sasuke was granted insane training from Orochimaru which put him light years ahead of Naruto so that's unfair.
Two, Sasuke was given Itachi's eyes for free.
Three, Sasuke was given the Rinnegan for free.


It doesn't matter if Naruto uses outside power. This is a manga about ninjas and you guys are more worried about who kills each other more professionally.

Sasuke's EMS isn't natural--they were put inside him. The Rinnegan didn't awaken by itself, Hagoromo did it for him.

But I agree on the first part. They both have latent feats, they've both had help & they've both had victories/defeats due to plot armor.

I wouldn't have a problem with it if Kurama woudln't be giving him advice in battle and actively helping him on his own. Of course it makes 100% sense from a story related pov. If Naruto wouldn't get the advice Kishi would just write him to be Sasukes equal by other means anyways. So it really doesn't matter all that much, if you think about it.
