Narutoforums is big on other mangas and anime. This forum pretty much only focuses on naruto that's what makes the difference.

What makes a difference is that Naruto forums is way older than NB and already a big forum when NB was made.

Probably because NB doesn't separate actual people from the bots. Their total is still higher by almost 200 people.

As for online user- some sites list people who have logged out an hour ago online. So you cannot really guess number of online users by forum stats all the time on all the forums. + NB has blocked over a billion people to avoid adbots.

The problem here is that many people don't try to read/watch something else. So many great Manga/Anime out there that are much better and more fun to discuss.

Not sure how that contradicts what I said. It's true. At any given moment, they've got roughly 300 members on. Just right now, they have 274. NB only has 119 now right now.

And I have seen them much lower than this too- in fact below100 a few times but that was some time back. So yep your statement was erroneous. Most user at NB are from USA followed by India. Both countries are way apart in time zones. Most users at NF seem to be from Europe. Making it more active at that time.

lol pretty much this. They don't delete threads just because is criticizing their favorite character or couple.
I think narutoforums is bigger by now, and has more engaged members to discuss the series without trolling and with more freedom to express their own opinion, criticizing and praising any character. It has fewer trolls and fewer cliques and member elitism as well.

That aside, I think narutobase is a better place to discuss general non-anime related topics. It has less social justice warriors and the opinions are a bit more diverse and interesting. People understand ironies and have more humour sense, though sometimes became kindergarten -this is not bad at all, i kinda like it to chill. That's it.

I think it depends on what you are looking for. However, it is expecents that the forums are less busy, since the series is over, and nothing is happening in Boruto. Even it it was better before, I wouldn't consider narutobase or narutoforums dead, and much less tumblr.
