How are Naruto and Sasuke going to end up fighting each other?

I mean, back when Naruto went to Gamamaru he was told he would fight some young and with powerful eyes. Minato thought it would be Tobi but Tobi is old by the time Naruto fights him. Besides, even if Tobi is considered young he isn't the main antagonist...

It's obvious that it's Sasuke but how exactly is it going to lead to that moment? After the explanation of Indra and Ashura, Itachi's reincarnation, and Sasuke's cooperation with Team 7 it would be very out of character for him to just go against Konoha again. And since this is the last arc apparently where is this fight going to fit? I also doubt the prophecy foretold a small test of power between them judging from the toad's tone so it just has to be a huge fight...

So basically, how exactly are they going to end up fighting each other? In all honesty, it won't feel complete without a proper fight.

But the thing is the fight won't be serious. I and most of the Naruto community want a serious fight and the toad sage sort of hinted at one...
If I were to guess it would be because the elders won't accept Sasuke because of his past crimes and he'll go all psycho again. But that still doesn't make sense after all the talking he's got by Itachi and the SO6P.

I'd say they're pretty even though. Just the epicness of that Rinnegan/Sharingan would counter Naruto

I think it will be either the Hokage position (Sasuke is angry that Naruto is chosen instead of him) or the Bijuu as he showed a desire to destroy them earlier.

Fighting over the Bijuu's seems like a pretty good reason for a fight. Sasuke wants his own way of bringing peace and Naruto won't allow that. Might just work out like that. Other than that, it can be that Sasuke is considered an outcast and the elders won't want to make him hokage.

I have been wondering the same OP. I am also curious about what Orochimaru will do. Something about this whole thing about Sasuke joining team seven doesn't feel right to me.
