How are money and animation related?

So,naruto shippuden animation sucessfully dissappoints me from time to time and when i was checkin a few naruto animation related threads,many ppl said that the studio will go bankrupt if shippuden's animation was like AOT's.How are money and animation related?i can understand if one needs more time for world detail etc,but what's the point of more money?if money is really that necessary then i can say that whoever the producer is,is a miser for animation quality is most of the time just looks like its been done by a drunk guy

more money means you can get better anime creators, like a footballer, more money you can buy a better player

You understand how a basic business works right? The more money you have the more people you can pay to animate. Hours of work cost. More motivation, more people and if that's not cutting it more money to buy a better team or animators.

More money means a higher budget, which means they can afford to place more detail. Naruto should have enough money to warrant a budget for AoT level animation, but the studio is probably cheap or miserly.

That's the part that costs money. More man-hours: whether by having more staff to get it done faster, or by having each person take more time on it.

It still costs more to have more staff so that each person is able to spend more time on their area.
It still costs more to maintain the same number of staff and deliver the product later so they can spend extra time on it.

Especially if people are paid by the hour. Um, DURRRRRRR.

Plus if the episodes take longer to make, they put them out at a slower rate, and so a slightly larger chunk of the budget would have to go into other costs. All of the costs that go into running a business in a building.

Due to length of Naruto the sheer cost would be ridiculous.

A short term season such as AOT has that leeway

which is sad because as the current trends go, naruto and one piece will probably the last long term manga/anime
