I watched the first episode, and I have to say the acting hooked me in. However, the plot and general shenanigans, 50% went right over my head. I have 0 interest in politics, and such have no understanding in any way shape or form of how the government works, particularly the political side of the government. So on a technical level this show doesnt interest me.
My question is for anyone who has watched the show so far: does it get more involved for people like me who have no general interest in politics, or is it strictly for those type of people? The acting and writing alone will be enough to keep me watched for another episode or two, but if the general story isn't going to reel me in at any point then Id rather cut my losses sooner than later.
