OK, so I've noticed a lot of people saying how they no longer click on Hottest Threads because it's basically the same threads always, and I agree. It's always predictions. And I know there's a lot of people here who could care about predictions.

There is where my suggestion comes in: A refresh plug-in. Basically some kind button that when you click it, it refreshes the page and refreshes the Hottest Threads slot with different threads than when you clicked the plug-in.

The new threads that pop up can either be from any section, or a member can select which section or sections that he wants to exclusively see threads from.

For example, he can subscribe so to speak to General Discussion, or Chatterbox, or both and more.

The threads that pop up will be random.

What do you think?

I like the idea, basically we get to keep refreshing the hottest sections until we see something we like, or a specific section we like, right? It would make browsing the forums easier, and it could threads alive alot longer. Some of the good threads with a plethora of comments die before I could comment on them, and there's no point on commenting on a dead thread. It would be nice if the hottest thread section could be active threads only too but that seems a little difficult.

Overall, good suggestion, hopefully a mod sees this and gives you an opinion on it.

You must be registered for see images

There are also today's topics, and new posts options. These links are much more helpful in checking out the interesting discussions.

^ this though not sure if you can access these links directly or have to click on the option from top bars yourself.

It also shows you the hot threads highlighted with blue colour ( via today's topic other than quick links option) and with no replies in red. and you get much longer list with section details. Hot threads can be also accessed through Quick links menu.
