Arrite listen to me pal!! m like a freak who keeps stickin to the horror movies! adn lemmetell you somethin tat all the ones mentioned above are not horror!!

infact there aint such horror movie that scared you!

but the movies that i regard as horror are!!

1: PARANORMAL ENTITY(is real footage)
2: Woman in black (good storyline)

thats it

and yea paranormal activity 1,2 .... grudge, exorcist are the movies on which i laughed while watchin

The ring scared the hell out of me!!!! All my guy friend think the decent is scary it must be a guy thing cause none of my girl friends think it is lol so maybe that would be a good one

none... the only movie that ever managed to make me aknowlage it as scary, was "It"... and I was 12 when I first saw it...

Except this one, all the other movies I've ever seen were more funny than scary... U_U and hell knows if I've seen movies of this kind... U_U

The paranormal films are the only films that have been released lately that are even remotely scary. What gives them an edge is the found footage style of shooting that gives the perception that what we are seeing is "real". This also applies to The Blair Witch Project which, in my personal opinion, is a classic scary film. Although I admit after the first Paranormal Activity the latter two were just painfully predictable.

It's true that everyone has their own idea of what scary is, but even in a pragmatic sense, other supposed "horror" films overload on blood and gore which doesn't even add up to a scary movie but rather a gross movie.

The true scary/horror movies are the ones that can get in our heads and stick with us after the movie's been watched. And like the Paranormal films, its the ones that we laugh and shrug off while we watch the movie, but end up hitting us afterwards

... or make him throw out some souls, and then make him a giant octopus (Kthulu)... that was the ending I was expecting... The film was shouting Lovecraft all over...

Lovecraft was the best at this kind... If only he lived today to wright some scenarios... U_U
