Neji's was awful due to the fact he died without a fight. Also, he died against 2 villains he's never fought.

Characters like Asuma, Jiraiya and Gaara died after a long, significant battle. That's what gave their deaths impact.

I think that Obito will die fighting Madara though .

Once the Bijuu have been pulled out, there's no way Madara will become the Juubi's jinchuuriki since there'd be no Juubi, just the Gedo Mazo. He'd have to seal each individual Bijuu into the Mazo which would take a couple of weeks.
