According to Hagoromo, Kaguya is Indra's mother....meaning the Sage's wife was his MOM!!!
It even repeats it here that Ashura and Indra's mom is Kaguya!

I haven't really heard of him referring to Naruto that way, and even then it would make sense seeing how they are reincarnations of his own sons.
Still, ur interpretation is less disturbing so I will believe yours.

Manga panda didn't translate it like that. Only *********** did, which it has always been known to be a loose interpretation anyway. So ignore the *********** and read the mangapanda one
