As I was jogging yesterday, I sow $20 dollards laying on the ground. I really wanted to pick it up but then decided not to.When i showed it to the guy behind, he took it and went his way.

My question is: does picking up something that doesn't belong to you makes you a bad person? can you go to jail for it?

+ with those hidden camera shows, you never know.

i always try not to do thing that ll bring shame on me. but i was really tempted.

What would you have done?

I really wouldn't care if I was being filmed, if I see someone losing it than I would give it back, but if it's just lying on the ground then it's mine.

I would have taken the $20, there's no way it would make it back to the person who dropped it, if you don't take it the next guy will.

It depends on the amount. If its like $1000 I would turn it in. And if I saw someone drop the $20 I would give it to them.
But if its just lying there with no one to claim it, then its mine.
