Not really because Sasuke never said he wanted to be Naruto's right hand or subordinate. Sasuke only agreed on contributing to the village, doing stuff on his own. Boruto, on the other hand, admitted he wants to be Sarada's puppy.

but that's what he is...not as in "assistant" but as in "other hokage"...boruto will be a top-tier (there is no question about it) and knowing him he'd never be an assistant to the hokage...boruto looks up to sasuke so it's easy to see how this will turn out
