Honestly, Kurenai has PRACTICLY been forgotten

Well lets think about it, at the start of naruto, we are told kurenai is leading hinata, shino and kiba

Then she gets owned by itachi.....

Then we find theres a relationship between Asuma and Kurenai

Asuma dies and Kurenai is pregnant

END OF STORY!!

She plays such a little part, she has been forgotten, i bet not even her own squad remember her She was a brilliant genjutsu user, we should have seen more of her

Kurenai was amazing, but again, Kishi just failed in putting spotlight on her later on in Part 2, or even more of Part 1. Same goes for the epicness known as Neji, Lee, and more.

Well... yeah, she has. But I'm sure that at the end of the manga, maybe during some little, "In the future..." segment, we'll see her and her child, with Shikamaru standing nearby. At least, I hope so. It'd be kind of... heartwarming. But yeah, Kishi definitely won't show her in the war and hasn't really since Asuma died, but... meh.

getting owned by Itachi is not the worse thing in the world especially if you only use genjutsu in which case a powerful sharingan user will always beat you. What do you want from Kishi with her, she's an average jonin and he gave her a love story (not in detail but its there).
Of all characters to be forgotten she is way down on the list.

I think everyone from the Konoha 11 have been forgotten as well. Did Hinata's training work? What happened to the Hyuga genius Neji? Is Lee able to beat him now?

Sigh, so many questions. I just wish they could answer a few more of questions like those instead of increasing people's power levels...

She doesn't have a big enough fanbase for Kishi to include her in anything. She's not a "neccessary character" if you will. Her being pregnant is Kishi's way of giving her character the back seat.

Also I think her baby is already born, I remember Shikimaru visiting it if I'm not mistaken.

I'm sure there are those who care for her. Just because you don't, doesn't mean that there aren't fans of hers somewhere. I'm not much of a fan, but I could have been if she was given proper spotlight.

And yes, Neji did get trolled too just like Kurenai.
