Honestly, how impressed were you by this?

Very averagely. You have to remember this chapter was inbetween Madara as the 10 tails Jin solo'ing everyone, Spiral Zetsu returning out of nowhere and summoning a Buddha and all the Tailed Beasts getting taken out. Not crazy impressive to see Hiruzen use all the elements which we know he can already do.

He deserves better\

See, thing is, it was a miniture version of it. And I mean, it was a pretty good feat and all...but think about it. Karin in a single panel (seconds) alone, did what the 5 kage and the alliance couldnt, which was getting passed the thing. Sooo I mean, Karin overshadowed that.
